Texas 4-H International Programs
have been relatively dormant the last few years, but are on a path for new
life! Dr. Darlene Locke, Extension Specialist at the Texas 4-H Office in
College Station is now coordinating the program and seeks your input for the
development of a program to meet the needs of 4-H families. The first step is
to gather information using a simple 15-question Qualtrics survey.
Please take just a few minutes to provide your input by February 28.

Be a Host Family! Texas 4-H will host 20 Japanese youth, ages 11-15, this summer for a four-week immersive homestay. Open your heart and your home to one of these youth. The only requirements are to provide a bed and three meals a day for the four weeks of July 22 through August 18. There are no scheduled events, other than the pickup and delivery of the delegate. The only expectation is to treat the youth as 'one of the family' and share your summer with them.
Texas 4-H members -- you can travel to Japan for a four-week homestay with a Japanese family. The deadline for the application process is March 1, so don't delay!
