NAMI Walk - September 26th

Each year, Travis County 4-H volunteers to provide the dog watering stations for the walkers/runners who like to bring their pets out to the NAMI Walk.  It is always greatly appreciated and would like to continue that this year. I would like to throw out the opportunity for a youth and adult volunteer to take on the leadership for this event?

Event Information:

Saturday, September 26
The Long Center - Austin, Texas

Registration: 8:00 a.m.

Walk Begins: 9:30 a.m.

Free parking at One Texas Center
Paid parking ($8) at Palmer Garage

Responsibilities for leadership:

• Take water bowls out the morning of the event by 7:45 am
• Supervise 4-H youth at the event to ensure they are filling the water bowls
• Station a few bowls at the capitol as that is the mid way point of the walk
• Event ends around 10:30 - 11:00 am
• Pick up bowls to return  to Cory\
