Dog Project Certifications

Dog Certification is now open on 4-H Connect and will close on January 10, 2014 at midnight.  Detailed instructions on how to certify a dog may be found by clicking here.  If there are any questions, please feel free to contact Cory at cmtalley@ag.tamu.edu.


Most significant is the 2014 Texas 4-H Dog Show Catalog is now posted on-line at http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/dogshow it outlines the rules for the 2014 show.  Please take note of some significant changes.

            - The 2014 show will be held in Belton, Texas at the Bell County Expo July 11-13, 2014.

- New exhibition class Treibball has been added.  Treibball is also known as urban herding where dogs “herd” exercise balls to a goal using basic herding techniques.

- We have also added a new Foster/Family Dog Program to encourage fostering dogs.  These dogs do not have to meet the six month ownership requirement and will be eligible for Canine Good Citizenship, Costume, Tricks, Obedience and Rally.
