Travis County 4-H and Youth Advisory Board

Applications are being accepted for the Travis County 4-H and Youth Advisory Board.

The board serves a strategic function by helping the County Extension Agents++ determine what programs should be implemented from year to year, reviewing the educational impacts of programs, determining how to reach new youth audiences, and helping decide whether task forces or coalitions are needed to address priority issues.

For those interested in serving in this capacity an application must be completed. Click here for the application and additional information. Applications are due June 29th and will be reviewed by the other youth agents in the office. Up to five (5) youth (current Travis County 4-H members) will be selected  to serve on the advisory board from a wide array portion of the county. Up to six (6) adults will be selected to serve on the board.
