Texas 4-H Volunteer Conference


Volunteer ConferenceConference Registration Now Open!
 
Registration for the 4-H Volunteer Conference is now open on 4-H CONNECT.  Regular registration rates (which include Friday night steak dinner, Saturday lunch, refreshment breaks throughout the conference, a t-shirt and program materials) will be available through June 22nd.   

Registration fee before June 22: $130
Registration fee after June 22: $150

The conference is scheduled for July 27-29 in San Antonio.  The conference will officially kick-off on Friday evening with a dinner, keynote address and 4-H program update at the San Antonio Livestock Show Grounds. Saturday and Sunday will offer volunteers more than 40 educational workshops (at the Region 20 Education Service Center) that focus on various projects and opportunities.
 
Pre-Conference Workshop Offered!
New this year will be a pre-conference workshop offered on Friday, July 27th,  
from 1:00 to 4:30 pm at the Region 20 Education Service Center.   
The conference will highlight the basics of 4-H, facilitating club meetings, management tools through 4-H CONNECT, web resources and tools,  
in addition to hearing from a panel of club managers.

This pre-conference workshop is limited to the first 30 people that sign up!  

Pre-conference registration fee: $20

 
Registration Scholarships
 
The Texas 4-H Foundation is, once again, sponsoring scholarships for volunteers to attend the conference.  The scholarships are in the amount of $65, which will cover half of the conference registration fee ($130).  The deadline has passed; however, if you would like to be considered an alternate for a registration scholarship, complete the online application.
