Gold Star, Silver Star and Bronze Star Award Applications

The Gold Star Award is the highest county achievement award and will be awarded only once in a member’s 4-H career. Counties have award quotas based on the number of senior 4-H members. The award is presented to the most deserving young people without regard to sex.

Bronze Star and Silver Star Awards
Purpose to recognize achievement by 4-H members 9 to 11 (Bronze) or 12-14 (Silver) years of age at the time of application. A member may receive the award only once. Number to be awarded is based on judges discretion.(application and requirements are posted on the travis4h.com website.)

Adult Volunteer Leader AwardAn new award to recognize volunteer leaders for their service and contributions was added last year. The leader must be someone the Extension Office has listed as a screened volunteer leader through the Texas 4-H and Youth Development - Youth Protection Standards Program.
