Travis County Youth Show - Golf Tournament - April 24th

The Travis County Youth Show is holding its annual Golf Tournament on April 24th.

If you know of anyone who would like to play or sponsor, please feel free to pass along to them. Below is the link to the information.

They are in need of door prizes to be donated. If your club could get something together it would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any specific question, please ask Ron Whitten or LynnDell Harrell. I have copied them on the email. They are organizing the tournament so they will be able to answer your questions much better than I can.

Heifer Proejcts and Validation

Any youth who would like to show/exhibit a heifer, that project needs to be validated. The process is a little different than what is done fore the market projects, but still needs to be completed. For those who are interested in heifers, email Cory at cory.hundl@ag.tamu.edu to let her know of your intent to have a heifer.
Congratulations to Codi Spence -former member of Oak Hill 4-H and Bowie-Austin FFA on being selected to serve on the Texas 4-H Rabbit Advisory Board.

Thank you for your passion and dedication to giving back and helping others!

Online Healthly Lifestyles Invitational

Starting Monday, April 6th, youth can participate in an online 4-H healthy lifestyles invitational. Over the next 8 weeks, a new contest topic will be released every Monday which can be accessed on the 4-H Healthy Lifestyles Program Webpage (http://texas4-h.tamu.edu/healthy_lifestyles). By accessing the online invitational, youth can complete a 10-question quiz and then judge a class related to the topic. Once submitted, youth will automatically get to see their scoring. This is great practice to learn more about the healthy lifestyles invitational contest, which will be held during Texas 4-H Roundup on the afternoon of Thursday, June 11th.
