On January 17, 2018, they will be offering a seminar on Paying
for College Without Selling Off a Kidney: Important Terms and Tips for Parents. Appetizers and drinks will be served.

alone. Deciphering college financial and admissions jargon is often
overwhelming. Whether you’re a grandparent looking to invest in your
grandchild’s education or a parent with a student in elementary, middle, or
high school, this seminar will provide you with smart, actionable steps for
each stage of the college financial planning timeline. In collaboration with
Collegewise and AXA Advisors, LLC, seminar attendees will:
- Receive insight on the common savings and investment vehicles for college expenses
- Discuss the effects those accounts have on your financial aid eligibility, taxes and estate
- Gain insight into what college admissions officers are actually seeking in their applicants
- Learn tips and techniques for navigating both the college admissions and financial aid processes while avoiding common mistakes
