The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Announces NEW Calf Scramble Entry Process The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is excited to announce the following changes to our Calf Scramble Entry Process as we strive to provide our applicants the best experience possible. In order to provide an easier, more efficient entry process, applicants will submit their Online Calf Scramble Application directly through their AST/CEA advisor. To continue to provide equal opportunity for all FFA Areas/4-H Districts participation, S.A.L.E. will continue to assign each area/district a performance(s) in which their applicants will be given preference.  NEW Calf Scramble Selection Process Entries will be submitted online at www.sarodeo.com by the AST/CEA.  There is no limit on the number of applicants entered per club/chapter. The AST/CEA can declare up to six (6) First Draw applicants.  First Draw applicants will be given preference over other applicants when determining scrambler positions. All applicants will rank the performances in the order in which they are available to participate.  Each FFA Area/4-H District will be assigned a performance (see Calf Scramble Performance Schedule), for these performances applicants from the respective FFA Area/4-H District will be given preference.  If the availability of applicants exceeds the number of scrambler positions, contestants will be chosen at random.  If scrambler positions are still open they will be assigned based on the availability of First Draw applicants regardless of Area/District.  Any additional openings for scrambler or alternate positions will then be filled by other applicants based on their availability for that performance.

Calf Scramble Entry Forms Applications for entry must be made online. Calf Scramble Worksheet, Medical Questionnaire, Release and Indemnification are available HERE.   Online Calf Scramble Application, Medical Questionnaire, Release and Indemnification Agreement must be postmarked on or before November 1st, 2014.
