During the month of April, visitors to the State Capitol can view
stunning photographs of the diversity of Texas agriculture in the exhibit Picturing
Texas Agriculture. One hundred students in 4-H and Future
Farmers of America (FFA) from throughout the state submitted images to a
photography contest. The prize-wining images in eight different
categories will be displayed in the Capitol ground floor rotunda. Picturing
Texas Agriculture opens on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, and will
remain on display through Sunday, April 27, 2014.
The free exhibit in the Capitol ground floor rotunda is open daily
to the public. Please call 512.305.8400 for more details.

STATE PRESERVATION BOARD
The State Preservation Board preserves and maintains the Texas
Capitol, the Capitol Extension, Capitol Grounds and the 1857 General Land
Office Building (now the Capitol Visitors Center) for the benefit of the
citizens of Texas. The State Preservation Board also operates the Bullock Texas
