SpecTra has much to offer 4-Her's across the state. The objective of SpecTra is for youth to enhance project knowledge, expand leadership skills, explore careers, and strengthen their self-image. The foundation of the SpecTra program is approximately 17 hours of intensive training in one project area. Participants will also have opportunities for recreation and leisure during the evening to make new friends and visit with old ones. The final activity of the week is the "Gala", which provides participants an opportunity to experience a formal event and reflect on the week's activities.

The total cost for SpecTra '09 is $300.00. This fee includes all lodging, meals, snacks, program fees, and a commemorative t-shirt.
