The TNLA is offering two scholarships opportunities that 4-H members may be eligible for.

2017 County CDM Results

Below are the results for our participants in the 2017 County Consumer Decision Making Contests.

Everyone did very well, particularly on their reasons.  It was a tough competition and as can be seen below, there are a couple of ties.  We set aside 4 levels of tie breakers for Jr./Int. and Sr.  This was still not enough to break a tie in some cases.

We will post the scenarios with ranks and reasons as soon as we can.




2017 Travis County 4-H Photography Contest

Virtual GEAR 2017

The Virtual GEAR competition is designed for teams that cannot/do not want to travel to an on-site GEAR competition and broadens participation to an international audience.  Robots are designed and tested locally.  Teams create and upload videos demonstrating their robots' performance and explaining their engineering design process.

TCYS Rule Change Submissions



The Travis County Youth Show 2018 Rule Change Submissions are now open. All submissions for changes to rules must be made by March 17, 2017 @ 5:00pm.

A livestock meeting will be held at Lanier HS on Tuesday, March 28th, beginning at 6:30 pm. Karen Griffin will contact interested parties regarding the Youth Fair.

Travis County 4-H Shooting Sports invites you to the 18th Annual March Madness Invitational Shoot!

The Travis County 4-H Shooting Sports Club and the Austin Rifle Club would like to invite all Texas 4-H Shooting Sports members to join us on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 in Manor, Texas at the Austin Rifle Club for the 18th Annual March Madness Invitational Shoot. The following is the information and instructions for registering to participate in this event. We look forward to seeing you all there and enjoy a large, safe and fun turnout.

Entry Fees: $45 for three events (except BB Gun)
