2018 Travis County 4-H Recordbook Judging Results

A special thank you to all of the Travis County 4-H and Caldwell County 4-H Volunteers who helped us judge our Recordbooks this morning!!

Below are the results for the 2018 Travis County 4-H Recordbooks.  All 1st place entries will advance to District 10 Recordbook Judging.  If you would like to make changes to your recordbook betweek now and District judging, you may check your recordbook out of the office and return it back to the Travis County Extension Office by 12 noon on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

All other non-1st entries may be picked up at your convenience.  Please let us know if you have any questions!

2018-2019 Turkey Order Forms are now up - Due 7/13/18

Turkey order forms are now available on the Travis 4-H Website (click the link and scroll down to Poultry).  Order forms are due July 13th at the Travis County Extension Office!

Don't forget to RSVP for the 2018 Professional YoU! Workshop is designed for youth who are 12 years of age and older and who would like help with developing their professional skills and presence!

2018 Recordbook Reminders

Check out some reminders for submitting Recordbooks!!  While Recordbooks are not mandatory, they are required to qualify for certain awards, project pins, and scholarships.  They even help graduating seniors out with completing scholarships!  

All forms and information are available online at https://texas4-h.tamu.edu/recordbooks/.  Please be sure to submit your recordbooks with a completed and signed Personal Information Page.

Below is a summary of the important dates and categories for Recordbooks.  The final deadline for them to be turned in to the County is Friday, June 22, at 5 PM.  If you would like to submit them early for review or feedback, please do!  You may submit a hard copy or electronic copy!

Also, we are still looking for a couple of additional judges to help us out at the County and District Recordbook Judging - please email Mellanie at MLMickelson@ag.tamu.edu if you are interested!

• Approximately 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM-ish (dependant on number of entries in category)

2018 Professional YoU! Workshop - 6/23/18

The 2018 Professional YoU! Workshop is designed for youth who are 12 years of age and older and who would like help with developing their professional skills and presence!

2018 Youth Leadership Program (Toastmasters) Registration is closing soon!

Registration for our 2018 Youth Leadership Program (Toastmasters) is closing on Friday, June 15th at midnight!

COST:                      The cost is FREE to Travis County 4-H Members and $10 for non-members!
