4-H Award Forms - due June 30th

Each 4-H member is encouraged to apply for awards in which youth are recognized at the annual Achievement Banquet. This years event will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at the Creedmoor Community Center at 6:30 pm.

All award forms are online this year and may be found at the link below. There is something for everyone so please look for a form that you can complete.

Presidential Student Service Awards

The instructions, with link, for registering your volunteer hours to receive the Presidential Student Service Award have been posted.  Please click here and scroll down to get to the instruction sheet.  Applicants may enter hours earned from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.

Master Chef Junior- Casting in New Orleans

Sheep and Goat Leadership Camp - July 25-27 - San Angelo



It’s time to get registered for the Sheep and Goat Leadership Camp in District 7.  This is our 3rd year and we are opening up registration across the state and will take the first 20 registrants and all registrations must be faxed or emailed to the Coke Co office by July 17.  You may have noticed flyers about the camp at all of the major stock shows.   Please pass the registration materials on to any kids you have interested that are 13 and older.  The camp is July 25-27 in San Angelo, TX and cost is $75.  We will have a full schedule of industry tours, hands on learning, and leadership activities.  This is a great opportunity to learn about the sheep and goat industry in west Texas! Hope to see you there.

Email Cory for the application.  Registration from all youth and adults that will be attending the camp will be required to be submitted.

2016-17 Turkey Orders

The order form for 2016-2017 turkeys has been posted on the Travis 4-H website.  These will be birds to be exhibited at the 2017 Houston Livestock Show, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Austin.  To access the form, click here and scroll down to the Poultry section.  The forms and payment must be submitted to the Extension Office by July 20, 2016.

Recordbook Workday - June 13th

Are  you completing a 4-H Recordbook this year? Are you stuck on some of the areas and have questions? Cory will be available on Monday, June 13th  from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm to answer any questions you may have.  Feel free to bring your laptop or other items in which records have been kept.

Hope to see you at the Extension office on the 13th to provide assistance.

Second Annual Pflugerville Kids' Business Fair



The 2nd Annual Pflugerville Kids' Business Fair is two weeks away! Jay Rogers organized it as a 4-H project last year, with the help of the Discover 4-H club and the City of Pflugerville.
